Crowdfire Keeping the Circus Fun

Crowdfire:  Keeping the Circus Fun.  Here at the caregiving circus, we are always trying to figure out a way to get our message out to as many family caregivers as possible.  We talk about how self care is literally the most important thing we can do for ourselves.  Yet, how can my small team and I make sure we get this information out to as many people as possible?

There is this other software, that shall remain nameless, that is very expensive that we were trying to use.  Yet, we are often traveling to or from caregiving appointments and we cannot drag our laptops with us everywhere.    So, we needed a better solution.  Preferably a solution that was less expensive and that allowed us to spread out message of self care on the various social channels we have established.

Crowdfire can Juggle!

While traveling to take my special needs child to her appointments or get Mom to the hospital, I just don’t remember to bring along my trusty old laptop.  Yet, I still needed to get work done.  The good news?  I always have my phone.

So, juggling four kiddos, one with special needs, and taking Mom to the hospital isn’t quite so terrible now. Now, I can use the time in the waiting room to get some work done.  It seems that Crowdfire can do a little big more than just cross post!  What else can Crowdfire help me juggle you might ask?  Well, let me tell you friends, it can do more!

Crowdfire can connect to Social Media, Blogs, and Shopify oh my!

Okay, so it’s not Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My – but it is close!  With the ‘other software’ I was able to connect my twitter, facebook, and LinkedIn accounts.  Yet, I was not able to connect Pinterest or Instagram.  That isn’t the end of the world, since you know that Pinterest and Instagram are a little unique anyway.  However, it would be nice to be reminded of them so I don’t forget – thanks Crowdfire – thanks for the reminder!

Here is the really cool part though!  You can connect your blog.  Yep, for realz!  So what you might say.  So what?!  I have always posted on different social media channels and remembered to include the blog link once in awhile – yet Crowdfire kind of says – hey dummy you posted a new blog post, do you wanna share it?  And I’m like, hecks yeah.  So, there you go – blogs posts are getting written and read all around the circus because of you Crowdfire!

You thought I was done gushing about how amazing Crowdfire is, didn’t you?  Well, nope, not yet folks.  Here at the caregiving circus we curate and create products for other family caregivers like you, so you don’t have to search the internet for them like we did.  And then we put them in Shopify.  Guess what?  That’s right!  Crowdfire reminds us about the great work we did so that we can share them with all of you.  Did I mention I like this app?

Crowdfire can send video too!

One last cool thing, you can connect YouTube and or Vimeo – maybe others too, but those are the ones that I connected too.  While we don’t use these other connectors, they also connect to Twitch, Etsy, and 500PX (whatever that is!)

I really love this app.  As a busy Reluctant Ringmaster, I have a ton of stuff to do at home as well as in my business.  Yet, I need to flexibility of an app I can take with me.  I need help remembering the things I might forget in the middle of the craziness of my circus life.  And luckily – Crowdfire is there to help.  Did they ask me to write this review, heck yes, why else would a blogger about family caregiving take to the streets about a social sharing app?

Did I say a resounding yes because I really love the Crowdfire app?  Well, you just read this entire review – so what do you think?

What other apps do you use in your business or in you caregiving experiences to make things easier for you?  Drop a line in the comments below.

Thank you,

Jackie, Your Reluctant Ringmaster
